Licensed by the State of Michigan, High Velocity All-Sports Summer Camps are for boys and girls of any skill level that are interested in exercise, friendly competition, and having tons of fun! Your child will experience a new activity every 30-40 minutes.

Register early!  Registrations on the day of camp are subject to a $10 fee.

  • HVS has voluntarily been reviewed and passed over 300 national standards.
  • HVS coaching staff & management are First Aid, AED, and CPR certified.
  • HVS coaching staff & management have passed criminal background checks.
  • We have documented operational plans, standards, and requirements.

We care enough for your child to do all of the above!  All information below is for the Summer Camps at High Velocity in Canton.

Mini Campers
Ages 3.5 - 5.5 years

This new section of camp is for our Pre-K to Kindergarten group. Kids will be supervised at all times and engage in age-appropriate sports activities. Each day will consist of Sports Clinics, Bounce Time, Theme Work, and Fine and Gross Motor Skill Development. Lunch is 12:00-1:00 pm and nap/quiet time is 1:00-2:15 pm. Please bring a sleeping bag or blanket and a pillow.

Please bring a bag each day with a change of clothes including under garments and sunscreen. Mini Campers MUST be at least 3.5 years and must be COMPLETELY toilet trained. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Jr. Campers
Ages 5-9 years

Jr. Campers will play a different sport every 30 minutes. This group may also participate in visitor demonstrations when age appropriate with the Mini Campers and/or Sr. Campers.

They will play traditional sports like soccer, flag football, basketball, dodge ball along with backyard games including various tag games, kickball, etc.

Sr. Campers
Ages 10-13 years

Sr. Campers will also play an array of sports every 30 minutes. This group may also participate in visitor demonstrations when age appropriate with the Mini Campers and/or Jr. Campers.

They will play traditional sports like soccer, flag football, basketball, dodge ball along with backyard games including various tag games, kickball, etc.

High Velocity Sports Membership

* All summer camps at High Velocity Sports require an active membership. Annual individual memberships are $20, or a family membership is $40. All camps are subject to change without notice. A $20 cancellation fee applies/child/camp.

All-Sports Camp Sibling Discount

$15 sibling discount to may apply to additional participants in the same household. The discount can only be applied to full-day (full-week) All-Sports Camp. No specialty camp discounts apply.

The Pistons Academy of Youth Basketball is coming to High Velocity Sports! The Pistons Academy Camp will prepare players of any level to out-think and out-play opponents. After Monday’s skill combine, teams will be formed based on skill level. Each team will play 15-20 games during the week with playoffs on Thursday and Friday.

For more advanced players, the camp offers strength and conditioning programs to help prepare them for the demands of middle school and high school basketball.

The Camp will feature many fun contests as well as special appearances from the Detroit Pistons entertainment group (players, mascot, dunk team, legends, etc…). All campers will also receive one free ticket to a 2017-18 Pistons home game.

Closing ceremonies are at 1:30 pm on Friday. For more information, visit No prorating.

New this year!  Join Andrew Crawford’s Next Level Camp and Coaches for Basic Training Camp (ages 6-10).  This camp is geared to the beginning to intermediate player.  Basic Training Camp will focus on the fundamentals of soccer.  Dribbling, passing and receiving, and shooting will be the main focus of this camp.  Striker Camp (ages 9-16) is for seasoned players that want to learn how to be their team’s “go-to” player in clutch situations.  This camp will focus on how to finish scoring opportunities by improving 1 on 1 moves to beat opponents, creating your own space without the ball, teach how to make productive runs inside the box, and various ways of finishing (volleys, half volleys, and more).

High Velocity Sports’ Hurricanes AAU Club Coaches will run Volleyball Camp featuring basic skills training in: Passing, Setting, Hitting, Serving, Blocking, and Court Positioning.

Dates: M-TH, July 17-20 (Elite-Club experience required) and Aug. 6-9 (Devlopmental)

Join current US National Team player Drew “Ducks” Ducker and his staff for a week of Futsal Camp.  Elite Camp (Club experience required) will focus on Learning the game of Futsal and how it benefits your outdoor game, Getting more touches on the ball than outdoor, making constant decisions, on and off the ball and Understanding spatial awareness.  Developmental Camp will focus on Having fun learning a new sport, Positive coaching, developing through the benefits of Futsal.

Bricks for Kids Mission 2 Space Camp

Ages: 6-11 years

Mission 2 Space: Space, often called “The Last Frontier”, has inspired scientists, star-gazers and adventurers for generations. Get inspired to go on your own adventure and join us on a Mission 2 Space! Discover some incredible structures at Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39, travel the surface of the moon on a lunar rover, and explore Mars onboard the “Curiosity”. Our tour would not be complete without a visit to the International Space Station. We’ll provide the bricks, all you need to bring for this adventure is your imagination!

Pokemon Go has become the #1 game of all time. Now your child can build their own Pokemon Go game in Scratch! They will immerse themselves in all aspects of video game design – from game ideation to storyboarding to the iterative development process of prototyping and testing. They also get to take home their video games! NOTE: Please bring a 8GB USB flash drive to class every day so that your child can take their animations home. Bring a snack and beverage. Students will use the popular video game Minecraft to learn about electronic circuits, electricity and wiring in a fun, game filled environment. Redstone is a fictional element in Minecraft that can power all the things that your child creates – from doors, lamps, rail tracks to houses and much more. Students will learn the basics of powering their world using Redstone and learn to build amazing creations like password protected doors, a collapsing bridge, secret mazes and many other challenges that will get them thinking, learning and building! Along the way, your child will learn about electronic circuits, AND and OR gates, inverters, repeaters and much more! Bring a snack and beverage.  Presented by Game Crazy.

Ages 5–8: Does your child love to play soccer? Now, using Game Crazy’s LEGO robots, your kids can build out all the components of a soccer game and play LEGO soccer matches against other kids! On the first day, kids will learn how to build and program a kicker and goalie robot using axels, levers, wheels and more. In subsequent days, they will build cheering fans who will jump up and down and make cheering sounds when the ball passes by them by making use of motion sensors and more. Using simple drag and drop programming, kids will learn to bring these robots to life and put them together to play soccer matches while learning to keep score, work in teams and much more. Highly fun and educational LEGO camp for your little soccer player.

Ages 9-13: Using LEGO NXT Robots, we transport kids to a far off planet where they build autonomous robots to make the planet habitable by humans. Young campers learn to build and program these robots to navigate challenging terrain and carry out various complex missions like excavating lake water, transporting rocks and more. In the process, campers will learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Math concepts in a “minds-on hands-on” environment. Campers will use a variety of sensors like sound sensors, ultrasonic sensors, color sensors and touch sensors to make their robots self- aware. Using an easy to learn drag and drop programming, campers will learn to make their robots autonomous. Will your child be able to solve the missions that await? From a galaxy far, far away, Star Wars comes to life! Work on a stop-motion animated LEGO® Star Wars movie. Use our Star Wars action figures to star in your own mini- movie … the possibilities are endless! Star Wars action figures, LEGO bricks and backdrops will be available for filming in class. Handle all of the technical details including using a digital movie camera, filming scenes, stop-motion animation, digital editing and adding finishing special effects and transitions to the movie. In this exciting hands-on learning class, learn the entire digital film making steps from start to finish NOTE: Please have your child bring a 8GB USB flash drive to class every day so that they can take their animations home. Bring a snack and beverage.  Presented by Game Crazy.

The PLG Box Lacrosse Camp is an intensive training experience to prepare players for the fall/winter box lacrosse season. This three day camp will teach the fundamentals of the box lacrosse game while improving shooting, stick skills, ball handling, and lacrosse IQ.

Join PLG Box Program Director Ron Martinello and PLG Director Mark Greaney to learn the techniques that will make your player a box and field lacrosse all-star!

National Flag Football Skillz and Drillz Football Camp

July 10-13 (M-Th)


National Flag Football SKILLZ and DRILLZ football camp featuring former Detroit Lion, 4x Pro Bowler, HERMAN MOORE coming to High Velocity in Canton, Michigan.

All players will receive a camp tee shirt and 12 hours of instruction by Herman Moore and the staff of National Flag Football.

Players will receive instruction from a Pro Bowler on the basics and fundamentals of route running, catching, throwing, defensive techniques, and flag pulling. Anybody who is looking to take their game to the next level will learn many tips to enhance their playing abilities.
